False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-yr length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses commence at NCV level two plus the bare minimum prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

After the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage 2 that's equivalent to an NQF level two.

On which type of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional schooling is not really necessarily the only real way of getting to be an study engineering artisan or getting capable therefore if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is in fact properly fitted to that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their study engineering Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
